KURT RITTA has a BFA from the School of Visual Arts NYC
in Photography and Illustration. He has been a fine artist for 20 years,
garnering many one-person shows in galleries from New York to Berlin.
As a filmmaker, Ritta has placed his artistic and photographic sensibilities
onto moving imagery, creating films of unusual poetic depth. Some are akin to Stan Brakhage's abstract work, usuing layers of color and hints of images to extend film's inherently fleeting effects.
A painter's touch is usually evident in his work.
